Well today's post will just be showcasing some photos of friends that i have and also some interesting experiences at the exhibit i was at.. SITEX 2005
But i'll explain more later. :)


This here is my dear fren from CF. Her name's Meliza and she's a year 1 Design student. From a church in Malaysia which is charismatic... she's very enthu and hip and happening one. haha Tough to get her to organize stuff like meeting up and all but i know deep down inside there's jus a ministry that's fit for her. I feel that coz of her talents in singing, that ministry won't be hard to find. :) Here she's jus being her whacky self.




Here's my co-leader... name's Nicholas Chong and he's a year 3 in Engineering. When our current chair had to take a short break from leadership duties, i stepped up and was able to have the help of nick when leading this and that. Thanks to his mature and flexible leadership style, i would say that he was indeed a help to me when i needed it. :) this is taken in the Engine canteen by the way...



This my dear blogger readers is Debbie. She's my age, from my church and basically, i would say she's prob the closest person since young to me... we grew up together and basically, our family history goes beyond our generation which makes us close frens, almost like siblings... Real glad to have a strong Sister in Christ as i have in Debbie and i can't wait to see how she'll, and myself, will grow up. ahaha Exciting.



Talking about Debbie being as close as a sibling, this is her real sibling. Aaron... He's like, my twin la. we do EVERYTHING alike... it's really scary. He's 3 years my senior yet it's like we're always on the same frequency and wavelength. it's real good and cool to have someone like him... i'd say that if there's anyone i'm most like, it'll prob be him. He brings a whole new meaning to brother. haha sigh. love their family. so yeh, here's Aaron.



This is Tricia... She's dressed quite nicely today and thot i should jus snap a shot since i dun have a profile picture of her. Yup, she's been quite an interesting individual... i can always count on her to give me nice quotes or interesting stories, some self written and poems as well... but she's always just trying to be around when i need i suppose... weird to think that way but yeh, i'm glad that i have a fren in her and she in me. so yeh... oh oh, right now, she's a faithful reader of this blog... says enuf. haha



This is a whacky whacky crazy shot of Jodi. Totally candid... hahaha so funny la... we laughed our heads off when i took this photo.... that's what we always do... laugh our heads off. I'd say that Jodi is such a fun person to be with... can be laughing at goodness knows what also la. hahaha. Truly a fren who has stuck by me no matter what and i Thank the Lord for her... for her loyal frenship and trust in me. :) couldn't find a stronger person... i'm thankful for her trust in me.




On to SITEX. my attachment's climax is at SITEX... we've been working our butts off for this exhibition that's HUGE.. i mean HUGE... we're there to showcase our projects and basically, i bumped into some other, larger than life characters... i'm sure you'll know what i mean when you see them... predators and Star Wars Royal guards... i mean, WOAH. haha

Aiyoh, so we had an informal gathering yesterday.. we being the combined CF from all the polys. :) it was our first and i was so glad that i organized it and it actually came into fruition in a week!!! haha so happening can! hope meliza can continue to take charge of this. :) so i took some photos.. you HAVE to see some. aha... here goeeeeessssss

Took super long to take this shot... I had to wait and wait... this is the result of MANY unsuccessful shots... it was quite funny coz there were these 2 guys wif power cameras and tripod stands jus taking and taking lightning photos... then a bit far off behind them was 2 silly boys holding their k700i and z800i pressing the handphone button the moment the sky lights up hoping to catch sumthing. hahaha and wif a 1.3megapixel camera, you better be impressed wif this shot. haha it's tougher than you think. haha...



This is my fren Mark... being dumb flying in front of the camera so i decided to take a photo... looks like some phantom of the opera la. hahaha.. spastik.








Our famous merlion... who should be fined DAILY for spitting. hahaha... it really isn't that much nice leh. ahha and it's shorter than i expected. maybe it's coz it's overshadowed badly by the Sentosa merlion.. that behemoth of a spitting machine is jus making this one outside the fullerton really look pathetic. haha..


This is my favourite photo for the night... taking it in Sepia tone, it really accentuated the light emitting from the lamp and gives a classy and oldish look to the whole lamp. haha... well, i love it. haha.

Yesterday i went to the hospital to visit my Granny.. she's been warded for vomitting and not feeling too well. When i was there at the hospital though, i went snapping away after i started getting bored... Be prepared, you're about to enter into a virtual tour of SGH as seen in the eyes of a bored teenager. *ZOOOOOOM*

Saw this fat guy and my dad and i were joking that he possibly couldn't be a doctor coz he was so fat.. then a while later, we saw him putting on gloves and twiddling with medical instruments and i was like, oh man... he IS a doc... haha.

Saw this photo opportunity that was too good to miss... well, you'll see loads of them as you tour this hospital wif photos in mind. :) Thot of capturing this shot of lifelessness and the boring gloom of the hospital. Taken in black and white, the mood is brought out even more by emphasizing on the mundane and plain life of a person bound to the wheelchair. Limited moment, limited colour.

The entertainment room, and i use this loosely coz everyone inside looked SO dead that i can't even say they looked a tad bit entertained. All it had was a tv. that's all. hahaha... sigh. SGH has its patients welfare at heart. So encouraging.

Opps. Needless to say no one listens to this. One day someone's gonna use his handphone and his mother's life support's gonna crash on her. Let's see how big a deal the hospitals make a deal of that when it happens. Let's hope it doesn't. :P

Another excellent photo op. Same thing as the first, gloom is everywhere in the air and it's not that hard to find photo ops that have that kinda mood in it. :) Stretchers are so depressing.



This is one of the few good photos that catch a nice light bouncing off the subject and all... the colour and tone of the photo is niccceeee. hahaha... think it looks really nice. and it's not like some super cheem subject, it's jus the door of the ward... brilliant play of light through the glass of the door too.. that's the toilet btw. haha




Oh man... this guy was so funny!!! He was sprawled all over the chair with his arms and legs everywhere!!! haha... And his mouth was GAPING open can!!! wanted to drop sumthing into his mouth!!! hahah it was so tempting. :) But of course all i did was shoot him.... with my camera that is. hahaha



This is one of those medical boxes thing that travel on those electrical lines above your head... The boxes fly past your head in a blur [ok ok, so my camera's lousy and it turned out blur but entertain me here while i make a point], it rushes to deliver impt medical documents to whichever floor it needs to send the info to. It's like a super efficient nurse. haha... zoom zoom.

Nuthing much going on. It's a Friday and one day before a really stressful day i guess. let me explain...

9am - Come to sch to meet Boon and Bi Ling to see if we can solve my Attachment project.
11.30am - Leave sch for Changi Village
12.30pm - Meet youths at Changi Village to go to Ubin via bumpboat
12.45-5.00 - Cycling in Ubin
5.15 - Choir practice in church

that wraps up the day. i suppose it'll be long and tiring. eee. not looking forward to that. ahha but yeh, i guess i'll be fine la.

Updates from today: My project works! well, my side works la... it's the client side and Boon Song is doing the server side which still has an error.. quite funny coz i solved this problem for him that's been buggin him for a whole day. gave him a suggestion and he said that if that works, he'll buy me lunch for the whole year... and it worked so i was laughing saying that i'd like carrot cake for today's lunch. hahaha...

Yup, that's bout it la. Yesterday, i went to SP with Meliza to join them for their prayer meeting. only had a few of them... Melissa, Chin Sing, Yan Sing and Derrick but they still went ahead wif the prayer meeting. yay! haha we came late but yeh, still was able to pray wif them. After that, we had a wonderfully enriching time over dinner and talking after that. I'm glad to see that Meliza's being more active in CF... hope the fire doesn't burn out.

Yarh, i'm waiting to go for lunch now... hungry. heh. till i next find the useless time to blog!!! :P
